Your images never leave your device

How conversion works

The tracing engine is WebAssembly running inside your browser tab. When you drop, paste, or select an image, it is decoded and vectorized on your device. There is no upload endpoint — the image bytes are never sent to us, stored by us, or seen by us, and the SVG is generated locally.

You can verify this yourself: open your browser's developer tools, watch the network tab while converting, or disconnect from the internet after the page loads — conversion keeps working.

What we do measure

We count anonymous usage so we know what to improve, using PostHog analytics served through our own domain. Events include page views and product actions ("an image was loaded", "a trace finished", "an SVG was downloaded") with technical properties only: file format, file size, pixel dimensions, the settings used, and how long the trace took. Never the image itself, its contents, or its filename.

Analytics uses a randomly-generated anonymous identifier stored in a cookie / localStorage so repeat visits count as one visitor. There are no accounts here and we never ask for your name or email. Event data is processed by PostHog Inc. (US) on our behalf.

Like effectively every website, our host (Google Cloud Run) writes standard request logs — IP address, browser user-agent, requested URL — which we use only for operations and abuse prevention.

What we don't do

• No image uploads, storage, or human review — the pipeline makes it impossible.
• No selling or sharing of data with advertisers; no third-party ad trackers.
• No accounts, no email lists, no fingerprinting beyond the analytics above.

Changes & contact
